Online shops, high-traffic sites and anything with extra demands. We’ll look at how your site is used and recommend the right hosting set-up for it.
- Hosting covers the server, security patching and backups. Updates to your website itself (WordPress, plugins and themes) are covered by Livetech Care.
- Hosting runs on a yearly contract from 1 January. Join part way through the year and we’ll charge pro rata for the remaining months, then invoice annually each January. To cancel, let us know before 1 January.

Care Bespoke
Tailored
Complex, high-traffic or multi-site set-ups. We scope the hours and monitoring around your site, with regular check-ins and priority response. Extra time is always at our reduced rate.
- Care plans are billed monthly, and unused time doesn’t roll over to the next month. Major updates, redesigns or custom development are quoted separately. To cancel, just give us 30 days’ notice.

Every business website has legal responsibilities, including cookies, privacy, accessibility and security. They’re easy to lose track of. We make it simple.
Check
Our CLAP check (Consent, Legal, Access, Protection) rates your site from Poor to Excellent, with a full report and anything that needs attention ranked by severity. £100 + VAT, or free when you join Livetech Care.*
Fix
Your report includes a fixed, cost-effective price for us to put any gaps right. The report is yours, so you’re equally welcome to fix things yourself or use someone else.
Keep
Livetech Care keeps your site in good shape, with a yearly re-check so you know it’s staying that way.

What does standard hosting include?
Secure, managed hosting for your website, server security patching, backups, an SSL certificate and five IMAP email mailboxes, for £199 + VAT a year, with support from the team that built your site.
Does hosting include updates to my website?
No. Hosting keeps your site online and secure at server level. Updates to the website itself, such as WordPress, plugins and themes, are covered by Livetech Care. That’s where most website security problems start, so we recommend Care for every WordPress site.
What if my site is larger or busier?
Online shops and high-traffic sites often need more. We will look at how your site is used and recommend the right hosting set-up for it.
How does the hosting contract work, and how do I cancel?
Hosting runs on a yearly contract from 1 January. If you join part way through the year, we charge pro rata for the remaining months and then send the annual invoice each January. To cancel, just let us know before 1 January and your hosting will not renew.
How does Livetech Care work?
Livetech Care is our website maintenance service, billed monthly and separately from hosting. Each plan includes a set amount of work time: 30 minutes on Care Basic, 2 hours on Care Plus and 5 hours on Care Pro. Any extra time is charged at a reduced rate of £44 + VAT an hour (usually £54 + VAT). Unused time does not roll over. To cancel, just give us 30 days’ notice.
Is my website compliant?
Hosting and Care keep your site secure and up to date, but compliance also depends on your content, your policies and how you use visitors’ data. A CLAP check tells you where you stand, from Poor to Excellent, with anything that needs attention ranked by severity and a fixed price to put it right. It’s £100 + VAT, or free when you join Livetech Care by 31 January 2027.
Do I need to host with you to have Livetech Care?
No. We look after plenty of websites that are hosted elsewhere. Hosting with us is simpler, because one team looks after everything, but it is entirely up to you.
How quickly will you respond if something goes wrong?
We aim to respond straight away during office hours, 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Urgent problems, like a site that is down, always jump the queue, and hosting and Care clients have an out-of-hours number for emergencies.
Can you move my website to your hosting?
Yes. We handle the move for you, including website, email and domain settings, and check everything is working before we switch over.
Do you look after websites you did not build?
Yes. We look after plenty of sites built by other people. We review the site first so we understand how it is put together and can flag anything that needs attention.
