- 2000Paul Levy, a former aerospace engineer and design technology teacher, starts Livetech in Colwyn Bay. The internet is still in its infancy.
- 2002–2003Our first team takes shape. Grant joins in May 2002, followed by creative designer Kev and coding wizard Graham in 2003. Grant went on to stay for over 20 years.
- 2005Live Technologies Limited is incorporated. Meanwhile, away from the office, Paul sings at the Vatican with the Amici del Canto choir.
- 2008We develop Minisite, our own content management system, making it easier for businesses to look after their websites.
- 2010We move to Deganwy Quay, reflecting our close links with the marine industry and our growing range of clients.
- 2014Livetech Ltd is incorporated as our dedicated digital agency business.
- 2015We purchase 16 Trinity Square, the former North Wales headquarters of the National Trust, and move in a few months later. A historic building becomes our new home.
- 2016Paul is named Conwy Business Person of the Year, and Livetech achieves Google Partner accreditation. A good year all round.
- 2020Llandudno’s lockdown goats make headlines around the world. Our footage features in a Jeep USA campaign and in a film made with WWF.
- 2021We move across Trinity Square to Ferndale House, giving the agency a new home while continuing to develop our serviced office community.
- 2025Livetech celebrates 25 years in business. We’ve come a long way from dial-up connections and the early days of the web.
- NowStill curious, still learning and still helping businesses make the most of technology. Today that includes Google, AI search and a whole new generation of digital opportunities.

How much does a website cost?
Every business is different, so we give you a fixed quote after a proper chat. We price in days at £350 + VAT a day, and most websites need at least four, so a small site starts from around £1,400 + VAT.
How long does a new website take?
Most websites are ready to launch within a couple of months, depending on size and how quickly content comes together. Got a deadline? We’ll work to it.
Do you only work with businesses in North Wales?
Most of our clients are local and we love meeting in person, but we work with businesses right across the UK.
Can you take over my existing website?
Yes. We host, update and support sites on WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace and more.
What is AI search, and does my business need it?
