Pale Wood requested a responsive website for promoting the location of their park and the surrounding area. The website would include high quality photography of the park and present information in a clear format.
- A clean and simple layout for users to follow.
- Use of high quality imagery.
- Responsive design that works cross-device.
- Displaying a range of caravans for sale in a simple to view format.
Our process to developing the website was an initial meeting with the client to gather a vision of what was required in developing the website. After the initial meeting, it gave a clear direction of where to progress to next.
In addition to being cross-device compatible the site features various user levels, fully social media integration and submissions forms. Some of the content used in the making of this site was Linux, Apache, My SQL, PHP, HTML5, CSS, AJAX/JQuery.
As a result Pale Wood has a responsive website to showcase the caravans for sale and also a clear layout for displaying information relative to the park.
In creating the design for the website it was important to use high quality imagery for an effective design. Text was formatted so that it was easy to read with the use of line heights and white space.
UX – User Experience
Forming a good user experience for the website began with positioning along the top of each page and structuring the main navigation on the top level. Each of the pages follow a similar structure, creating consistency throughout the website.
